Handcrafted Traditional Wood Bows
A near dimensional replica of the famous Sudbury bow crafted from American red oak. Drawing 55lb @ 26” its an accurate and fast shooting paddle bow. A true testament to the genius of the Native American craftsmen. The belly has been heat treated to resist compression and increase cast. The bow comes with naturally tanned possum string fur silencers. The bow is 68” long and 2” wide at the midlimb.
A native American style bow modeled after the 1665 bow collected in Virginia. Drawing 55lb @ 26” of draw. An almost exact dimensional replica this longbow bends throughout its length. A fast shooting bow that takes some adjustment due to its wide handle area. The bows construction is documented in my YouTube channel. The bow is 68” long, tips are 3/4” inch wide the handle being 1 11/16” wide.
A small bow for the younger archers. Pulling 20lb @ 20” of draw a light and fast bow suitable for target shooting. A simple flatbow with no shelf or tip overlays the bow bends throughout its length. Having a “peck” mark in the middle of the handle to distinguish where to grip. Brace height is 4” from the handle to the string.
The classic American flatbow design with wider near handle limbs tapering gently to 1/2” nocks. Drawing 53lb @ 26” this narrow handle design is shelfless with a fast and snappy release. The belly had been heat treated to resist compression making the bow hold 1/2” of reflex. Featuring a handstitched buckskin handle for grip and possum fur string silencers.
