Custom made Oak, Osage and Yew bows to fit your style and preferences. Handcrafted with premium staves shipped directly from the USA and Canada. These are some of the only Osage and Yew bows available, made to strict standards and thoroughly tested before being shipped to you.
Services
Each bow can be tailor made to suit your preferences whether it be for hunting, target shooting or a gift for someone special. I import each hand picked Yew and Osage stave from the USA and Canada to make the highest quality and most durable wooden bows possible. The bows can be made to suit a variety of poundage’s and draw weights with length and dimensions varying accordingly to suit each wood.
American white oak is an additional option for those who want a more affordable and durable bow. The oak is heat treated over coals to reduce set, increase performance and durability. Some examples are shown in the photos below.
Extra materials can be added to enhance the bows aesthetics and feel. These include but are not limited to: Paua inlay, Ray skin handle, Beave tail grip, Bone inlay, Horn tip overlays, and more.
Construction time can vary and may take up to a month depending on the difficulty and extras that are desired.
The default bow style is the classic American flatbow but can be changed if the desired draw weight and length will allow.
Please note that the NZ courier service has a size limit of 1.8m long parcels. As such maximum bow length cannot exceed 69” in length for normal courier services. Extra long bows may require a different courier service and may fluctuate in shipping price as a result.
The bows can range in price from $800 to $2250. Oak requires a $400 non-refundable deposit. Osage requires a $700 non-refundable deposit to import the stave from the USA. Yew staves require a $500 non-refundable deposit to import the stave from Canada. Once the stave has arrived and the bows details are finalized work on the bow can begin.

Send me a message and we will discuss your ideal bow, its intended use and what poundage you’re after.
Deposit and Stave Order
After you’re happy with the details of the bow I will require the deposit for your chosen wood. $800 for Osage, $600 for Yew and $400 for Oak. This will be used to order the stave from the USA or Canada.
Bow Work Begins
Once the stave has arrived I will confirm the details of the bow with you. Work will then begin on the bow which can take anywhere from one to three weeks.
Payment and Shipping
Once the bow is completed it will be test shot to ensure durability and comfort. Photos and video will then be sent to you displaying the product. The full amount will then be paid before the bow is shipped to you.
